OAKFIELD SATURN (2) progressive mare who was heavily supported on resumption when a fighting on-pace second to the handy Gunroom over 6 ¼f at Newcastle. Won over this track and trip on debut and gets map favours. Goes close. MATCHSTICKS (6) has taken giant strides in her second preparation and was rewarded for her consistency when a slick on-pace winner over 6f at Canberra. Gets a better set-up for this and is expected to go close. EAGLES BEWARE (3) frustrating in two runs back and has a host of gear changes for this.
