SHEMAKESMENERVOUS (11) led and was beaten 2 lengths in a 6f contest at Gold Coast (turf) two weeks ago off the 12 gate, quickly improving. Draws the rail today and has more to give. Sits at the bottom of the weights and is ready to win. DIOSA (8) returns from a spell and has switched from Chris Waller's Melbourne yard. Opened last prep with third at Sale over 7f. Placed in a trial here and the blinkers are on. Has form from better races and will be hard to beat if presented on song. HALFACHANCE (5) beaten a head resuming from a spell over 6f at Gold Coast (turf). Raced forward and is much improved. Keeps the handy 7lbs claim but today he has a wide gate to manage. Can get into the money with average luck. Ditto HE IS THE KISS (2), who resumed here and needed the run. Goes better second-up and has pieces of form that would see him competitive. YONAKA (4) maps well and won't be far away.
