Verdict

RIDEAU (1) resumes here but the form he has shown in previous preparations is good enough to feature in a race like this. Tuned up for this with a whopping seven length trial victory and a strong showing while fresh would not surprise. SUNIKI (6) saves her best form for this circuit where she has four wins and four placings from 12 starts. Gets plenty of weight relief with the 9lbs claim and can make her presence felt once again. BEEN A SECRET (4) doesn't win out of turn but is usually thereabouts and may run a race first-up. Former NSW galloper SUCCESSFUL (5) wasn't too far away in her first local outing and will have come on now with that run in the locker. Top-three commodity. RISK ASSESSMENT (10) gets the deadly Gollan/Jones combination and shouldn't be dismissed lightly.
