JUNGLE JUICE (2) was a touch disappointing at Toowoomba last time out but go on the dominant debut victory there two back. Gets the services of Huxtable to navigate from the sticky draw and can bounce right back to form in this contest. Former Victorian DARK SKIES (1) is having his first run for the new stable but draws low and gets 4lbs off with the claim. Should find this easier than what he faced down south and rates a genuine hope in this line-up. LEVAR (3) has hit the top-four in four of five starts to date including a win over this course and distance. Has to be included. GIGGY (7) shed the maiden tag at the latest outing and will have derived a stack of confidence from that win. Can go back-to-back. STATE IN TEXAS (6) resumes here but tuned up for this with a recent trial placing and gets in well at the weights with the claim. Can earn a cheque while fresh.
