BALANCE THE BOOKS (9) opened the career in good order with a strong win over this course and distance before being tipped out for further time to furnish. Has since returned with a solid victory at Eagle Farm and winning rider Jones stays on top. Should be right there at the business end again. KILONOVA (12) brings Sydney formlines to the table and saves her best for this six-furlong distance range. Respect out of the champion Waller barn. The well-related HEESEN (4) (half to 2xG3 winner California Zimbol) is a bit hit or miss but draws low and gets 4lbs weight relief with the claim. Rates highly on best figures. PIERATA'S GEM (2) will strip fitter second-up and only needs some luck navigating from the sticky draw to be playing a role in the outcome.
