Verdict

ROLLING RULER (6) looks an exciting type who got too far out of his ground last start, but still only just missed at Bunbury over 6f. Back to 5f is a little query, though he should be able to sit much closer in the run today. Looks above average and get the job done despite rising in grade. OSCAR CHARLIE (1) is another up in grade today but he's racing in strong order at a lower level. Steve Parnham remains in the irons and he boasts a good record at this track and trip. Has good early speed and can give them something to chase. LAST STYLEBENDER (8) makes his WA debut today following a disappointing effort at Seymour recently. She hasn't been sighted publicly in WA, but he rates well off his maiden win first-up last campaign and creates plenty of interest. MAGALI MAGIC (5) is better than she showed last time out and can bounce back. THIS'LL SHOW YA (7) is next best.

Lining up for just third start. When well in the market at debut, favourite, came from midfield and won by a long-neck at Bunbury Mdn September 18 over 5 ½f in soft going defeating God's Grin carrying 128lbs at $3. Second-up settled towards the rear 2nd of 13 at Bunbury Cl3 on September 29 over 6f, nose behind Three Grand with 128lbs at $3.10. Back in trip today, but he looks to have talent and can go one better.
