It was hard to miss the run of BASSETT HOUND (5) on debut where he was unlucky not to win, running up backsides right down the stretch. He should've gone close to winning there and drawing away from the fence is a big tick here. Back in trip is the query, though he looks to have plenty of improvement to come. SOUND OF SPEED (2) was inching toward his last start win where hew as too good after a lovely run in transit. The form out of that race has worked out nicely and now Pike hops in the irons. He maps for a similar run this time around and there's no reason why he can't go back-to-back. GYPSY RHYME (8) is on debut for the Steven Ryan camp following a very impressive trial win at Belmont recently. He was on the speed there and kicked away nicely to score. Can play a leading role on debut. SHE'S HOT (6) wasn't far away last time out and can continue to improve third-up into the campaign. TWISTED STEEL (1) will be fitter for the fresh effort and looks an improver back to his own age.
