Placed at Yarra Valley two back and can return to form. GOLD THUNDER (6) improving with racing and like the way he held on when a narrow on-pace fifth over 5f at Cranbourne. Will need a good ride from the gate in this weaker contest. Each way. MIDNIGHT EAGLE (4) slashing debut at the big odds when second over 5 ½f at Wodonga in the heavy conditions last August.
