Winning rider Duffy is reunited. STRATEGIC DEFENSE (9) finally broke through, delivering comfortably here over 7 ½f. She will use the inside gate and can go back-to-back without surprise. FREUD (3) was well in the market at Wagga over a mile, beaten 2.7L. He's better than that and arrives here on a 7-day backup with the blinkers on for the first time. Has a wide gate, but McDougall is a positive jockey engagement. CARRY ON LIZZY (11) led and placed at Wagga over a mile and will hit this at peak. Sits on the minimum and also deserves consideration.
