ERION (7) impressive run first-up when second in a Super Maiden at Wellington. Has disappointed at his last two runs and will find this more to his liking from the draw. RITA RED (9) consistent mare due for a change of luck. Sat on the speed when a fighting third over 4 ½f at Corowa. Doesn't have to improve much to shed her Maiden tag. C'MON WICKSY (2) lightly raced gelding resuming. Back without a trial and showed enough in his first prep to suggest he can go on with it this time in. Tongue-tie and winkers go on. Bold showing expected. SPLENDID MAGNUS (11) first run for the new stable she drifted back from the inside draw on resumption when fourth over 5f at Moruya. Expected to have come on for this and will appreciate the extra trip. Each way.
